Your comfort and well-being during the trip are of utmost importance. Here’s what you can expect regarding lodging, meals, and special considerations to ensure a fulfilling and supportive experience in Ghana.

Lodging

Double Occupancy: Our standard accommodation is double occupancy, meaning you will share a room with a fellow participant. This allows for a more intimate and communal experience, fostering deeper connections with your travel companions.

Single Room Option: A single room supplement is available for private space. This option will provide a private room to enjoy solitude and quiet reflection during your downtime.

Comfort Amenities: All accommodation has air conditioning to ensure you stay relaxed and comfortable, especially during the warmer days and nights. Each room also has Wi-Fi to connect with loved ones back home or catch up on essential matters online.

Food

Traditional Ghanaian Cuisine: You’ll have the chance to enjoy delicious, authentic Ghanaian cuisine throughout the trip. Meals will feature fresh, local ingredients and flavors representing Ghana’s rich culinary traditions. Staples such as jollof rice, plantains, yams, fufu, and kenkey will be part of your dining experience.

Diverse Protein Options: There will be a selection of various meats served, including chicken, beef, goat, sheep, and fish. These dishes will allow you to sample various local preparations and cooking methods, providing insight into Ghana’s rich culinary heritage.

Fasting, Cleansing, & Purging: As part of the spiritual journey, there will be moments dedicated to fasting, cleansing, and purging. These practices are integral to many spiritual traditions and will be mindfully integrated into the itinerary. The exact details of fasting periods and the types of cleansing rituals will be explained as we move through the sacred portions of our trip. Rest assured, ample time will be given to prepare yourself mentally and physically for these transformative moments.

Vegetarian & Spiritual-Friendly Meals

Vegetarian Options: We are mindful of dietary needs and preferences. Certain meals will be vegetarian-friendly for those who follow a vegetarian diet, ensuring you can fully enjoy the experience while adhering to your dietary choices.

Spiritual Dietary Practices: If you adhere to specific spiritual dietary practices, such as avoiding certain meats or foods, these needs will also be accommodated. Meals can be tailored to support your spiritual journey, and vegetarian or spiritual-friendly meals will be available at critical points, especially during sacred rituals or ceremonies. For example, sometimes, we may serve plant-based meals to aid in spiritual cleansing and rejuvenation.

Dietary Restrictions: Please inform the trip organizers if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. Whether you require gluten-free, vegan, or allergy-conscious meals, we will do our best to meet your needs.

We understand the importance of nourishing body and soul during this spiritual journey. Every effort will be made to ensure the food and accommodations contribute to your overall experience, providing comfort and sustenance as you embark on this transformative adventure in Ghana.
